One Day, 20 Crane Lifts
Katy Hall - 31-Jul-2024
31 July 2024 was a hot and busy day for SC4 Carpenters, with 15 Crane lifts of Roofs and Timber Frame over 3 sites
Installing:
- 8 roofs lifted and temporarily braced by lunchtime at Lovell's Drummond Park site in Ludgershall, near Andover
- 4 roofs at Selbourne Park, Alton for Foreman Homes
- 2 First Floors and Roofs at Elivia Homes' Netley Grange site for Taylor Lane Timber Fram
Well done to the SC4 Carpenters Roof and Timber Frame Installation Team including:
- Appointed Person (AP): Conrad Hall
- Crane Supervisors: Simon Griffiths, Simon Mead and Dave Cushing
- Slingers / Signallers
- Carpenters and STA Certified Timber Frame Installers
- All working with Marsh Plant Hire Ltd Crane Operators.
A 90 Tonne crane was used for the lift at Netley due to the distance and weight of the load, where the team were fitting First Floor Timber Frames and Roofs for two new homes.
See more in the video below, where good planning from SC4 Carpenters, Taylor Lane Timber Frame and Elivia Homes ensures everything goes to plan.
